Marshall's AVTX lineof amplifiers is the culmination of a decade's woth of evolution and innovation since the birth of the original Valvestate. All models now feature a new contemporary look and all AVT50X, AVT100X & AVT150X models include automatic variable speed fans, ensuring it's place as the market leader.

Both the Marshall AVT150HX boast's more channels and features than any Valvestate amplifier before. their four channels are: Acoustic Simulator, Clean, Overdrive 1 and Overdrive 2. The Clean, Overdrive 1 and Overdrive 2 channels are identical in terms of voicing and features to those found on the AVT100X. As it's name suggests, the Acoustic Simulator channels transforms the sound of a standard electric guitar into that of an acostic guitar with amazing authenticity.

Referring to a Guitarist magazine review "The Acoustic Simulator is a brilliant idea - a first for a non-digial amp - and the tonal effect is extremely convincing with the single coil pickups, allowing the guitarist to switch instantly from electric to acoustic sounds without changing guitars or amps."

For even further flexibility, the AVT150X and AVT150HX house a pair of adjustable DFX sections - one for the Acoustic/Clean channels and the other for the Overdrive 1/Overdrive 2. Both DFX sections are on/off footswitchable via the supplied 6-way LED footcontroller.
