550-Watt Bass Head with Dual Tube Preamp Technology

The Ashdown Dual Tube Series 550 Bass Amplifier Head is new for 2011! The Dual Tube 550 uses the same pre-amp technology that first appeared in the 427 Small Block, this pre-amp was instantly succesful because of its deep solid and articulate bass bottom end plus it's sparkling highs. Ashdown have combined this pre-amp with the well established MAG power stage backend to ensure that the discerning bass player gets high and low gain inputs, front panel-mounted FX send and return, rotary bass, middle and treble controls with mid shift, bass shift and bright switching, mute switch, rotary gain and master volume controls and a DI output.
