New upgraded 2012 version of the popular Kingman Bass

The Fender Kingman Bass SCE Acoustic Bass, has been upgraded for 2012. The Kingman Bass SCE now comes with loads of new features such as the vintage-style three-ply gold pickguard, bone nut and vintage-style rosewood Fender “Viking” bridge with compensated bone saddle, obviously it still has the classic Fender Jazz Bass headstock.

The Kingman Bass SCE also has a solid spruce top with cutaway body, and mahogany back & sides which produce a more defined and resonant bass sound, the cutaway body has very stylish binding and a checkerboard rosette, it has a 20-fret rosewood fingerboard surrounded by aged binding, and stylish block position inlay markers set onto a maple neck, with forward strap button and internal block reinforcement, the hardware is chromed and the the body is gloss lacquered, the sound is faithfully reproduced via the fantastic Fishman Presys pickup system which also has a built in tuner, so all in all a lot of new features for your money here.
