The Malibu SCE Natural comes with a lot of new 2012 features, such as the new solid mahogany back which produces a more defined and resonant sound, a newly-styled three-ply pickguard shape, bone nut, all-chrome tuners, plus a new addition of a vintage-inspired rosewood Fender “Viking” bridge with compensated bone saddle.

The Fender Malibu SCE Folk Natural also has a lot of other great features which include the solid spruce top with scalloped X bracing, solid mahogany back and laminated mahogany sides, vintage C-shaped maple neck with dual-action truss rod and Stratocaster headstock shape, 20-fret rosewood fingerboard with aged binding and white pearloid block inlays, body binding and elegant checkerboard rosette, chrome hardware, forward strap button with internal block reinforcement, gloss neck and body finish, the sound is faithfully reproduced via the fantastic Fishman Presys pickup system which also has a built in tuner, so all in all a lot of new features for your money here.
