The Fender Sonoran SCE, Cutaway Electric Lake Placid Blue with Matching Headstock looks fantastic and is all new for 2012. The California series  Sonoran SCE in its lovely Lake Placid blue finish with matching headstock is not only a real eye catcher it's also a great sounding instrument thats great to play. The Sonoran SCE has a resonant solid Spruce top with scalloped X bracing for warmth, depth and volume, amplified throughout by the fantastic Fishman Isys III pickup system with active on-board preamp and tuner, it has been upgraded with a three-ply pick-guard, bone nut and bridge saddle, and vintage-style Fender “Viking” bridge.

The other striking features on the Sonoran SCE are its “tight” dreadnought cutaway body shape, mahogany back and sides, stylish checkerboard rosette, body binding, vintage C-shaped maple neck with dual-action truss rod and matching painted Stratocaster headstock shape, 20-fret rosewood fingerboard, rosewood bridge with compensated saddle, forward strap button with internal block reinforcement, gloss neck and body finish.
