The Fender Sonoran SCE Thinline Cutaway Dreadnought Guitar Natural is completely new for 2012. The Sonoran SCE Thinline is the latest addition to the California series, with its distinctive sleek body-form on a dreadnought shape, making it easier to play than the normal deep body-style. The Fender Sonoran SCE Thinline comes with a solid spruce top with scalloped X bracing producing a richly resonant tone, mahogany back and sides which produce a more defined and resonant bass tone and a three-ply gold pickguard.

The Sonoran SCE Thinline has loads of extra elegant cosmetic touches such as a cool looking checkerboard rosette and body and neck binding, C-shaped bolt-on maple neck with the legendary Stratocaster headstock,  dual-action truss rod for rock-solid stability, 20-fret rosewood fingerboard with bone nut, vintage-styled Fender “Viking” rosewood bridge with compensated saddle, forward strap button with internal block reinforcement, vintage-style tuners, chrome hardware and gloss neck and body finish. Well done to Fender for this exciting new California series model for 2012.
