The F-1512E, which was inspired by the Guild classic model (F-512) has fantastic tone and playability emanating from its solid spruce top and solid rosewood back & sides which produce the warm and balanced sound, amplifed via the fantastic Fishman Sonitone active pickup and preamp system with volume and tone controls for that natural sound, the satin finish mahogany neck with rosewood fingerboard lends to a smooth and comfortable feel on the fingers, and the "Classy Looks" of the ivoroid body and neck binding, with mother-of pearl rosette and block inlays make this guitar a real winner in the 12-string market.
