The Hagstrom Viking Standard Hollow Body Electric Guitar is probably one of the best and most most versatile hollow bodied Jazz / Blues guitars in todays market. The Viking Standard has a shape that is similar to the classic 335 whilst retaining it's own uniqueness.

The Hagstrom Viking Standard body is constructed from contoured laminate flamed Maple with a North American 22 fret hard Maple set neck, the fingerboard is made from Resinator Wood which eliminates wolf tones or hot spots and incoporates the company’s patented H-Expander truss rod providing tension at either end and running the entire length of the neck, the rigid yet lightweight alloy truss rod allows for a very low action and thin neck, two factors that were instrumental in earning Hagstrom its reputation as the world’s fastest playing guitar. The electronics on the Viking Standard are 1 x Hagstrom HJ-50 hum-bucker neck, and one bridge controlled via 2 volume and tone knobs plus a 3-way toggle switch giving great tone variation through Jazz and Blues styles of playing. The hardware consists of the famous tune-o-matic bridge with trapeze tail-piece and die-cast machine heads, this is all topped of with the fabulous high gloss Wild Cherry Transparent finish, making this guitar as nice to look at as it is to play.
