Korg DT4 description

Korg Compact Chromatic tuner

The Korg DT-4 has a unique circular pitch indicator that lights up to let you know when you're in tune. Plus, with the DT-4's large LED readout, you can tell right away the note name of the pitch you're tuning. The DT-4 also uses red tuning guides to help you hit your pitch dead on. This instantaneously visible readout is housed in a compact, cool-looking design that can go anywhere.

The DT-4 offers super-precise tuning over a note range of A0 (27.50 Hz) to C8 (4186.01 Hz). Plus, you can adjust the calibration of the reference pitch in 1 Hz steps in a range of 410 Hz to 480 Hz.

Tuning choices: three new tuning modes
There are three tuning modes in the DT-4: Strobe, Mirror and Meter.

*Strobe mode
In Strobe mode, the green LEDs will stop moving when your instrument is in tune. The LEDs move in a clockwise direction if the pitch of your instrument is sharp, or counter-clockwise if it is flat. When the tuning is correct, the two red tuning guides will also light simultaneously.

* Mirror mode
The DT-4's unique, innovative Mirror mode tells you you're in tune by illuminating the two green LEDs at the lower left and right simultaneously. The bright green LED will move to the right of center if the input pitch is sharp, or to the left if it is flat. The distance between the bright green and dim green LEDs indicate the distance to perfect tuning.

*Meter mode
In Meter mode, you tune your instrument so that the bright green LED is aligned with the red tuning guide in the center.

Low power consumption
The DT-4 is designed to avoid unnecessary battery consumption. In Strobe mode if approximately thirty seconds has elapsed without any input, the rotating green LEDs will go dark. If approximately ten minutes have elapsed with no audio input while powered-on, the power will automatically turn off.
