The Korg K-Series, which includes the Korg K61P, feature nine controllers and a velocity-sensitive standard-sized keyboard in a slim and stylish design; and are now joined by a model with a built-in piano sound generator. The K61P gives you a lavishly-equipped USB-MIDI controller together with a selection of the high-grade Korg sounds acclaimed by professionals around the world, making it a great choice for live performance or music production. The Korg K61P contains stereo-sampled piano PCM that have been carefully recorded to capture every detail of a grand piano's resonance, from the hammer strike to the lingering decay. The voicing technology that Korg is famous for has been used to reproduce all aspects of the piano's distinctive depth. The built-in piano sounds include six natural-sounding acoustic pianos that use the same stretched tuning as an acoustic piano, as well as five electric piano sounds. There are also thirteen additional sounds such as clavi, organ, strings, and choir, giving you a total of twenty-four sounds. The Werckmeister temperament used in Baroque organ performance and the Kirnberger temperament used by harpsichords are also provided, letting you enjoy music in a wide range of genres.
