Limited Edition Signature Series 100-watt Amp Top
The Marshall Yngwie Malmsteen Amplifier Head YJM100, Limited Edition for 2011 has just been announced. The Marshall YJM100 is said to be the 'ultimate Neo-Classical' amp and has been developed in close conjunction with the Yngwie Malmsteen, the YMJ100 is a 100-watt valve head that brings a combination of vintage looks and more modern features to the player of today.
The YMJ100 amp top is based on the tone of the 'Holy Grail' 1959 Plexi head, the many features of the YMJ100 include a foot-switchable noise gate, series FX Loop and studio quality Digital Reverb with rear panel level control. The YMJ100 has a half power switch that shifts the output power from 100W to 50W when engaged, as well as a built-in variable Attenuator control, which can take the output stage from anywhere between 100 per cent to 0.01 per cent. If one of the output valves encounters a fault, the valve failure circuitry feature will indicate so on the visual indicator on the rear of the amplifier.
Yngwie Malmsteen is known for his love of Marshall Amplifiers. This is why Marshall are proud to announce the arrival of the new YJM100 Yngwie signature head. Taking the awe inspiring over-sized cabinetry of the historical Marshall Major amplifier, adding the exacting features Yngwie needs to the rear panel of the amplifier and adding a twist of new technology, Marshall have created the most ultimate Plexi based signature amplifier to date.
