Dynamic Hyper-cardioid Hand Held Microphone

The Peavey PVM 46 is a high end peavey mic that can be used for voice, drums, guitar amplifiers and other instruments. It's a dynamic microphone, using a coil and magnet to produce the audio signal, that uses neodymium magnet in the mic element. The PVM Diamond serires mics are more sensitive than other mics. The microphone diaphragm is coated with diamond emulsion which results in a better transient response over a greater frequency range.

The PVM 46 has a frequency response of the 45Hz to 16kHz which is pretty darn good. It also has a maximum SPL (Sound Pressure Level) of 140dB which makes it capable of withstanding high SPL levels. You can use it on snare drums, guitar cabinets and even bass guitar.
