NanoMAG Pickup For Acoustic Guitar

Shadow’s patented NanoMAG pickup technology is an absolute new approach in acoustic guitar amplification. Small pickup sizes enable installation of this pickup into or in front of the fingerboard and its construction provides a perfect string balance, when bronze strings are used.

The NanoMAG is a magnetic pickup with an air coil and a composition of different samarium cobalt magnets incorporating active electronics in a minimum of space. The pickup is protected by an epoxy layer, and the silver-platinum shielding will provide together with the active electronics a low impedance hum free output signal.

NanoMAG is the only pickup of this kind on the market which provides an acoustic sound, but can also produce the sweet blues or jazz sound. It is very resistant to the feedback and has an incredible dynamic in all positions.

NanoMAG pickups installed in an electric guitar will provide additional acoustic sound to a normal electric guitar sound. NanoMAG is available for acoustic guitars with bronze strings and soon a special version for electric guitars and basses.

SH Sonic NanoMAG is an easy-to fit preamp system for acoustic guitar. With the 2-band equalizer-controls (bass and treble) you will be able to adjust your personal, acoustic sound easily.

Because Sonic preamps are installed into the soundhole there is no need to cut a hole in the bout/frame of the guitar. The system works with two 3V cell batteries and comes with an active NanoMAG pickup.

Phase switch inverts the signal and cancels the overall feedback. The battery LED will turn on when the battery is low and battery should be replaced within 30 minutes.

The complete system is extremely light and weighs less than a 9V battery other preamps work with.
