Single-Rackspace CD Player from Tascam

Tascam CD-500 is the latest addition to Tascam's best-selling line of single-rackspace CD players. Tascam CD-500 is a new style slot-loading player, which include features such as flash start with a front-panel 10-key pad, WAV file playback, front-panel lockout, a footswitch input and more. The unbalanced CD500 includes RS-232C control, S/PDIF optical and coaxial output. The new transport in the Tascam CD-500 uses a brushless motor for improved reliability and durability. The drive grabs discs from the edges instead of top and bottom, which avoids damage to the disc surface. Other features include 16percent pitch control, MP3 file playback, auto ready and auto cue modes. A wireless remote control is included with the unit.
