DTXPLORER – The DTXPLORER is Yamaha’s lowest-priced professional-grade 5-piece electronic drum kit. It features 214 high-caliber Yamaha drum and percussion voices, 22 preset songs, 32 preset drum kits, digital effects, and a 16-bit tone generator with 32-note polyphony. High-impact rubber pads with a natural feel and rebound, a sturdy folding rack, and an FP-6110 bass drum pedal complete the set. The DTXPLORER is an ideal kit for practice at home or gigging live.

32 Preset Drum Kits
Rock, Funk, Jazz, Reggae, Latin Percussion, and more - the DTXPLORER supplies you with an excellent selection of drum kits ready for immediate use. You can also create your customized kit and store up to 10 drum kits.

High-Performance Metronome
You can combine clicks at the exact timing as you want to customize your own click patterns. Up to 30 patterns can be saved into the memory area. You can assign a different drum voice like a kick or a snare to each of five click value types (Acc, quarter note, eighth note, sixteenth note, or triplets). Moreover, individual volume levels for each of the five click beats can be adjusted.

Ideal For Sharpening Your Skills
The DTXPLORER comes with 22 preset songs. You can either mute the drum track (drum mute function) or play the bass part only (bass solo function) to play along with the songs in a virtual session. "Groove Check" function allows you to check on your playing accuracy (timing of hitting pads and how hard you hit pads).

Play Along With Your Favourite Recordings
Connect a CD player, MP3 player, or other external audio device to this jack and play along with your favourite recordings. (The drum part from a CD player, MP3 player, or other such source can not be muted.)

Drum Trigger Module
With eight buttons and a jog dial, the DTXPLORER is very easy to use. Two click lamps (red and green) let you know the current metronome setting and timing. Terminals compatible with a 2-zone pad or a 3-zone pad (optional) are built-in . An acoustic drum can be connected by using YAMAHA Drum Trigger DT20 (optional) .

MIDI OUT
This jack works as an interface for recording MIDI data. Play the DTXPLORER and your performance is converted into MIDI data.

AUX IN
Play Along With Your Favourite Recordings Connect a CD player, MP3 player, or other external audio device to this jack and play along with your favourite recordings. (The drum part from a CD player, MP3 player, or other such source can not be muted.)

Snake Cable Offers Quick and Easy Setup
Cable lengths are optimized to provide enough length to run from the module to each pad. The cables are bundled into a snake and cable ends are labelled with input jack numbers and pad names so you can connect easily.

Easy To Store
Foldaway system allows you to store the units with the trigger module and pads on the rack. Lightweight design offers easiness in moving the units - convenient to store in small space.
