Yamaha DXR15 powered 15" PA speaker is equipped with highly efficient Class-D amplifiers that were optimally designed to match the high and low frequency transducers. Yamaha DXR15 delivers a powerful 1100W of power at an impressive SPL of 133dB. DXR15 feature Yamaha's proprietary FIR-X tuning which simultaneously optimizes frequency and phase response while adjusting the time alignment between the HF and LF transducers - creating an extremely smooth response around the crossover point.

Yamaha DXR powered speakers also come loaded with D-CONTOUR - an intelligent multi-band compressor that gives you powerful and consistent sound throughout all output levels. D-Contour constantly monitors the output of multiple frequency bands and calculates the optimum EQ adjustments for each, even at maximum SPL levels. DXR Series speakers provide two different D-CONTOUR settings: FOH/MAIN mode or MONITOR mode. FOH/MAIN mode boosts low-frequency to compensate for low-end that is typically missing when speakers are used in suspended applications or mounted on a speaker stand. MONITOR mode is completely optimized for floor monitor application by intelligently taming down the low-frequency that builds up due to floor reflection, smoothing out a wide range of frequency bands to give you stunning clarity for monitoring your sound.

Yamaha DXR15 is housed in a moulded in rugged, non-resonant ABS enclosure that has been designed to dampen down vibrations caused by high output levels, producing less distortion and superior sonic quality.
