6 String Bass, Ovangkol

The TRB6PII’s layered body wings are exquisitely crafted from lightweight ash and a choice of flamed maple, ovangkol or bubinga fronts and backs - mated to long-scale, two-octave, through-body necks for optimum sustain, tonal response and playing range.

In addition to a pair of powerful Alnico V double-coil pickups, each model features individual brass mini-bridges for each string, loaded with a piezo pickup system. A pickup balancer and separate piezo volume control allow the sound sources to be blended together which, in conjunction with the three-band active EQ, offer a simply amazing range of sounds and tonal subtleties - from sparkling and acoustic-like to full-on low-end beef.

Active 3-band EQ
An active control system featuring a 3-band EQ gives the TRB series basses even more tonal versatility.
